Home Food Preservation Classes

OSU Extension Home Food Preservation Workshops focus on teaching the basics of home canning and preservation. We emphasize the science behind preservation so that everyone that cans or freezes food, understands why certain proceduces must be followed precisely. 

Date: July 15 (Freezing and Dehydrating), July 29 (Canning), and August 19 (Freeze Drying) in 2026

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Location: OSU Extension Office, 110 Island Road, Circleville, Ohio 43113

Cost: $10.00 (Cash or Check at the door.)
