Knitting is a great way to to relieve stress, get creative, and meet others. Not to mention the wonderful clothing, accessories, and home decor you can make!!

•    Learn a new skill - we will gradually work through the steps of starting a knitting project!
•    Make your own scarf for the winter season!
•    Spend time with a community of knitters!

We will be holding each session in the OSU Extension Office (second floor of Pickaway County Service Center). The address is 110 Island Rd., Circleville, Ohio 43113. Be sure to enter the building from the back door (park next to the railroad tracks and enter in the door by the ramp).

Class will be held Wednesdays at 3:00pm-4:00pm on the following dates:

  • November 6
  • November 13
  • November 20

Please try to attend all the classes, as we will be continually building upon our skills from previous classes!

The fee to attend the class is $15 per person. You will receive knitting instruction, knitting needles, yarn for your project as well as notions (darning needle and stitch markers). Payment can be made with check or cash on the first class session.

Alternatively, you are welcome to purchase or bring your own knitting supplies to class instead of paying the class fee. Please plan to bring one skein of yarn (I would recommend a medium weight yarn - nothing too skinny or bulky) and straight knitting needles in size US 6, US 7, or US 8.
