Join OSU Extension and the Park District for a Tai Chi experience in the parks! This Tai Chi workshop is an 8 week course for beginners. Tai Chi can help decrease arthritis pain, helps prevent falls, increase flexibility, improve physical and mental balance, as well as can be done seated or standing.
Tai Chi classes will be held indoors in our accessible event room at the Park District Headquarters located at 16405 US Rt. 23, South Bloomfield, OH 43103 from 11am - 12pm. A paved parking lot and access ramp and restrooms are on site. An adult must accompany all children under 12.

Join us as we explore the facts in the fiction making the most of the holiday season with a warm fireplace and a good book.

Email Wellness Challenges are offered twice a year and run for six to eight weeks. Participants receive one message per week on health and wellness topics related to a theme. Participants will also have access to optional resources available including the Ohio State University Extension Live Healthy Live Well Blog, a free 6-week Wednesday wellness webinar series, and a tracking bingo card.

Designed for children ages 9-12, this program will teach preteens how to be safe when staying at home alone. This program will discuss safe indoor, outdoor, and online habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with an emergency. Participants in this interactive program will take home a booklet that they can review when they are ready to be Safe@Home!
